ViewLux Construction in North Las Vegas, NV | Ellsworth Contractors
We provide independent General Contractor in North Las Vegas ViewLux service, and the one thing that sets our work apart here is simple: we know what desert heat and caliche do to cabinets, countertops, and shower glass. Our crews install and service ViewLux Shaker cabinets, quartz countertops, frameless glass shower enclosures, and vanity tops in homes from the 89030 core to the 89085 and 89086 master-planned edges. We’re not manufacturer-affiliated or authorized. We’re the crew that fixes what the desert does to these products, and we do it right. Call (888) 445-6077 to schedule a free estimate.
Why North Las Vegas Residents Choose Us for ViewLux Service
Most contractors in the valley know one trade. We know the product line, the install method, and the failure modes that show up two or three summers later. Reed Calloway, our owner, came up through the construction technology program at the College of Southern Nevada and spent years on job sites framing and finishing before running Ellsworth Contractors. That background matters when you’re dealing with Las Vegas ViewLux service products in North Las Vegas. We’ve seen cabinet finishes blister on west-facing walls in 89084, watched quartz edges chip from thermal shock, and replaced shower seals that failed from the day-night temperature swing. We source OEM ViewLux parts when they make sense, and we’re not locked into them. You get an honest repair-versus-replace recommendation based on your product’s actual condition and your budget. Full-scope accountability, from roofline to paver, is how we work.

Common ViewLux Construction Problems We Solve in North Las Vegas
- Cabinet finish peeling and blistering. South- and west-facing walls in North Las Vegas take brutal afternoon sun, and 115°F summers cook factory finishes. We replace or refinish ViewLux Shaker cabinet fronts and add UV-resistant topcoats so you’re not repainting every other year.
- Quartz countertop edge chipping from thermal shock. When a cold glass or bowl hits a sun-baked quartz surface, the temperature differential stresses the edge. We seal, repair, or replace ViewLux Quartz tops and adjust installation details to reduce repeat failure.
- Shower glass seals failing and leaking. North Las Vegas swings from 100°F days to 70°F nights in the summer, and that rapid expansion-contraction cycle breaks down seals faster than anything else. We replace sealing systems on ViewLux Frameless Glass Shower Enclosures with materials rated for the thermal range.
- Cabinet doors warping and binding. Monsoon-season humidity spikes, then winter drops to near zero. ViewLux doors that swelled in August bind in December. We adjust, hinge-replace, or re-hang doors to correct the geometry.
- Anchoring failures in caliche-heavy ground. Cabinets and vanity tops need solid anchoring, and North Las Vegas caliche can throw off standard installs. We adjust mounting systems for the hardpan layer so nothing shifts or pulls loose.
ViewLux Service in North Las Vegas: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment
North Las Vegas is one of the fastest-growing big cities in the country, and much of its construction happens on raw desert land annexed in the last 20 to 30 years. That means ViewLux kitchens and baths are regularly installed in new-build tract homes on lots where caliche, the calcium-carbonate hardpan common across the north valley, forces excavators to jackhammer or rip footing trenches that would dig cleanly elsewhere. Clark County’s dust-control watering and air-quality permits under Rule 94/114 are a constant inspection point on North Las Vegas job sites. For a ViewLux owner, this affects more than excavation. Cabinet anchoring has to account for the hardpan, and finish schedules have to accommodate dust and heat. In the master-planned communities off Aliante Parkway in 89084, we recently completed a full kitchen remodel with ViewLux service in Nellis Air Force Base Shaker cabinets and quartz countertops. The homeowners had noticed the factory finish on their old cabinets blistering from years of afternoon sun through west-facing windows. We installed new ViewLux cabinets with a UV-resistant topcoat, added a reflective window film to reduce solar gain, and sealed the new quartz tops against thermal shock. Build it right the first time or you’ll be back explaining why you didn’t. That’s the rule around here.
ViewLux Models & Products We Service in North Las Vegas
We service the full ViewLux residential line: Shaker-style kitchen cabinets, quartz countertops, frameless glass shower enclosures, and vanity tops. On any given week in North Las Vegas we’re working with all four. When OEM parts are available and priced fairly, we use them. When they’re not, we use aftermarket hardware, seals, and glass that meet or beat the original spec. We keep common replacement seals, hinge hardware, and touch-up materials on hand for faster turnaround across 89085, 89086, 89087, and 89030. That means fewer return trips and less downtime on your kitchen or bath. For broader ViewLux sales & service, our team covers the full scope from countertop replacement to complete cabinet installs.

AfterViewLux Service Pricing in North Las Vegas
What drives the cost on any ViewLux job here is scope, condition, and how much caliche or heat damage has already accumulated. A vanity top replacement runs differently than a full kitchen with new cabinets, counters, and a walk-in shower. Below are the ranges we quote most often in North Las Vegas. Every free estimate includes a line-item walkthrough so you see exactly what you’re paying for before any work starts.
| Service | Typical Range |
|---|---|
| Full Kitchen Remodeling | $14,000 – $45,000 |
| Walk-In Shower Installation | $4,500 – $12,000 |
| Bathroom Vanity Installation | $800 – $3,000 |
| Countertop Installation | $2,000 – $6,500 |
These numbers reflect what we see across the valley, and they hold for North Las Vegas work. The cheapest number is a straight swap. The top end is a full pull-and-replace with finish work. Call (888) 445-6077 and we’ll give you an exact quote based on your home, your ViewLux products, and your timeline.

FAQs – ViewLux Construction in North Las Vegas
Heat and UV are the two biggest killers of ViewLux finishes in this city. Cabinet finishes on south- and west-facing walls blister and peel after a few summers of 115°F exposure, and quartz countertops can chip at the edges when cold items hit sun-baked surfaces. We address both with UV-resistant topcoats, thermal-shock sealing, and placement recommendations. Call (888) 445-6077 if your finishes are showing age.
Kitchen and bath remodels that touch plumbing, electrical, or structural walls need a permit through the City of North Las Vegas Building Department. That covers most full kitchen and shower installs. A straight cabinet or vanity swap typically does not. We handle the paperwork, pull the permits, and schedule inspections so you don’t have to. Call (888) 445-6077 and we’ll tell you exactly what your project needs.
They can, but the seals are the weak point. North Las Vegas monsoons bring humidity spikes, and the day-night temperature swing stresses glass and seal materials. We install seal systems rated for that thermal range and inspect enclosures for early failure signs before they leak. If you’re seeing water outside the glass, call (888) 445-6077 before the base plate rots.
Yes. The older 89030 and 89032 core has a lot of mid-century and manufactured homes with compact bathrooms. ViewLux service in Winchester vanity tops and smaller shower enclosures work well in those spaces, and we’ve done plenty of small bathroom remodels in that area. We’ll spec the right product for the footprint rather than forcing a layout that doesn’t fit. Call (888) 445-6077 to talk through your space.
Caliche complicates any work that touches the slab or subfloor. Anchoring cabinets and vanity bases to a floor with hardpan beneath it requires different fasteners and sometimes core drilling. We adjust our install methods for the caliche layer so your ViewLux products stay straight, level, and fixed. Call (888) 445-6077 for an on-site look at your specific lot.
